Cadent wineCellar provides a unique application for storing, viewing and retrieving information about your wine collection. This powerful program enables you to not only store and retrieve information about your collection, but to view your collection as a hierarchical chart, as a list, and as thumbnail pictures, all categorized through selectors chosen by you.

We have provided a sample database and screencasts (see sidebar) to guide you in exploring Cadent wineCellar. Use these tools to quickly learn the many features of our product. Enjoy.

Features

Features in Cadent wineCellar include:

Three views of your wine information: thumbnail view, list view, and graph view, each reflective of the other.
An interactive, hierarchical graph built from selectors chosen by you.
Ability to search and retrieve information using multiple selectors to narrow your search (e.g. Search by country, varietal AND vineyard).
Ability to store photos of wine labels in the database.
Can quickly generate a "buy list" for your next trip to the wine store.
Provides a way to quickly determine which wines are drinkable or have expired.
Stores your entire collection in a single file which is portable to other computers.
Ability to provide the location where each wine is stored.
Program does not require an internet connection.
Can store up to 2000 wine entries (100 during the 30-day trial).

You can download a 30-day trial of wineCellar by clicking on the link in the sidebar. This trial is full-featured except it limits you to 100 wines in the database.

To make your evaluation easier, we provide a sample wine database for you to download (to the right). See the wineCellar screencasts for more information.

Cadent monitorLite

Cadent monitorLite is a process/application monitoring utility which currently runs as a universal application (Intel and PPC) under MacOS 10.4 and 10.5. monitorLite offers these features:

Represents the process/application information as a hierarchical graph rather than a flat list.
Uses a small amount of CPU.
Provides a powerful “snapshot” feature allowing you to see what is, and is not, running on your system relative to a previous point in time.
Has a search box to quickly find processes you are looking for.
Has CPU a memory filters to watch for processes using all your system's resources.
Provides a slimmed down view of what files/internet connections an application has open.
Can export these graphical views to the graphviz DOT file format. This makes it available to other applications which support the DOT format such as graphviz and the Omni Group’s OmniGraffe version 5.
Has two security modes: privileged mode, and user mode to accommodate different security concerns.

You initially get a full-featured 30-day trial after which a $15US license needs to be purchased if you wish to continue using it.
