Cadent Computer Consulting Inc. was incorporated on May 13, 1997. The original mandate of the company was to provide quality contracting services to the telecommunications industry specializing in embedded software and driver development.
Over time, Cadent Computer Consulting Inc. has developed a lot of experience in embedded/real time/high performance computing. As a result, certain needs of this arena have been identfitied and a new avenue of product development was identified. With the release of Cadent's first product, Cadent monitorLite, the company's name has been changed to Cadent Computing Inc. and its direction is set to focus on product development and consulting/training.
Founder
Cadent's founder, Doug Oucharek, has been working in the embedded/real-time market for over 20 years being dedicated to the craft of developing high quality, high performance, software/firmware irrespective of the "process flavour of the day". It is Doug's philosophy that quality software comes from craftsmanship and experience and not from following a "process recipe" (ISO9000, SEI, Agile Development, etc). This philosophy is the foundation to all work Cadent does for its clients.
